The security officers and aides of the Rome City School District unanimously approved a 5 year contract negotiated by UPSEU. The contract includes major wage increases for our members along with doubling the longevity pay. “Rome is seeing what other Districts are facing in their schools and our members are the first line in protecting our children and other staff. Our hats are off saluting the members of Rome City Schools Security and Aides Unit,” said Labor Relations Representative Tim Cottrell, who negotiated the deal along with Steward Annette Magnanti.
