Two units represented by SEIU Local 200United, Change to Win, voted overwhelmingly to join UPSEU in PERB elections held on January 10, 2014. Seventy five percent of each unit's members voting in the election, voted for UPSEU. The units are Batavia Downs Gaming and Western NY OTB.

The units grew tired of SEIU Local200United Change to Win and their lack of representation, and after reaching out to UPSEU, decided they wanted an election.

Only a month ago, another unit of SEIU Local 200United members also voted to leave SEIU for UPSEU in a PERB election. Over 325 members were involved in the three elections.
