After 20 years of representation by CSEA/SEIU, the Ridgefield BOE Paraprofessionals voted overwhelmingly to leave CSEA/SEIU and join UPSEU in a state run election on March 11, 2013.

This 142 member group decided to follow the trend of the Ridgefield BOE Nurses and the Ridgefield BOE Secretaries who recently also voted to join UPSEU in order to obtain a high level of representation. UPSEU received 91% of the votes cast.
