UPSEU is pleased to announce that on December 13, 2012 in a Connecticut State Board of Labor Relations secret ballot election, the Ridgefield BOE Nurses voted unanimously for UPSEU. The previously unorganized nurses unit originally contacted AFSCME to represent them. Days prior to the election, UPSEU was contacted by some of the nurses asking that we intervene in the election. UPSEU is proud of the Ridgefield BOE Nurses as they stood united together in voting to be represented by UPSEU.

The tally was UPSEU - 14 votes, AFSCME - 0 votes, no union - 0 votes.
