Averill Park Chief Shop Steward Retires

Patty Boyle was elected Chief Shop Steward for the current contract, and after 31 years as a bus driver for the Averill Park Central School District, says it's time to retire. Patty retired during the 2011/2012 school year, however she still helps when needed. Patty's expertise and passion for her fellow employees will be missed in the bus garage and at the bargaining table.

After retiring, Patty has set her sights on a higher goal, the Patriot Guard  Riders of New York. The Patriot Guard Riders are over 258,000 strong, nationwide. Their main mission is to atted the funeral services of fallen American military heroes as invited guests of the family.
