THANK YOU!
Each of us at UPSEU would like to extend our deepest sympathy to all the families who have suffered a loss as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who work selfessly to keep the rest of us safe during the horrible storm. There is no greater sacrifice that putting others before oneself.
As time passes, our communities will come to appreciate, even more that they do now, how all of your hard work and dedication has affected them. UPSEU is proud to represent our local Police Officers, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Responders and Dispatchers who serve our communities 24 hours a day to insure that we are safe. We are proud to represent our Public Works Department employees who work tirelessly into the night clearing our streets and helping to restore utilities. We are proud to represent our Custodial and Maintenance employees who continue to work to get our schools up and running again. And we are proud to represent our Health Care workers who care for our sick and elderly.
Finally, we want to thank each of you who have given a helping hand to a neighbor or co-worker and provided food and shelter to those in need. Sandy only lasted for a few days but your hard work will be remembered forever.
We hope that during the upcoming Holiday Season each of you will be able to spend some quality time with your families and friends enjoying time with those who we care about most.
Again, thank you for all that you do.
From the Officers and Staff of UPSEU.
