After rejecting the first contract proposals from the town, the negotiating team of Chief Steward William Nyulassy, Rita Eckstein, Harry Janson and Labor Relations Representative Michael Kutski went back to the bargaining table armed with new ideas that benefitted both sides in the long run.

Knowing what the town was facing in these hard economic times, the team worked with the town in order to change healthcare coverage to save both the town and the employees money. The town was then able to agree to wage increases for 2012 and 2013.  "This was a win/win situation for our members. Congratulations to all for a great job," said Kutski.
