  All active UPSEU  members in good standing with twenty four (24) continuous months or more of membership benefit shall be covered for a Five Hundred Dollar ($500) Burial Benefit payable from UPSEU. A member who is not on the active payroll due to leave, disability or other similiar circumstances remains eligible during the first 3 months of such leave. All burial benefit claims will be paid in accordance with rules promulgated by the Executive Board.
